Abstract
I present a personal case in which the LASER diode with 1.470 nm. of wavelength and radial fibers are used for the specific treatment of the posterior circumflex vein of the thigh and vein of Giacomini that presented pathologic reflux (greater of 0.5 " with the maneuvers of acceleration and in standing position) transmitted from the greater saphenous vein using a conservative strategy of the latter, also LASER occlusion of a second Ieakage point from pathological Hach perforator vein, complementing the procedure with the miniphlebectomy of varicosities related to perforator vein. The purpose of this case is to demonstrate that Endolaser treatment focused on tributary incompetent veins (total or segmental) and incompetent perforators with preservation of the main venous trunks is a specific, safe and effective method in the clinical and hemodynamic improvement of venous insufficiency. lt is concluded that this strategy is effective, reliable and minimally invasive which is further achieved clinical improvement of the patient an excellent cosmetic result with a quick recovery.
