Abstract
To counteract photoaging, photona technology uses two wavelengths in a treatment under a 4-step protocol, with synergistic effects that allow the contraction of collagen fibers, the final result of which is facial firming. The purpose of this research was to describe the clinical and ultrasound findings before and after the treatment of combined non-ablative facial rejuvenation Nd:YAG 1064 nm and Er:YAG 2940 nm in patients who attended the consultation of the dermatology and laser aesthetic medicine unit. UNIMEL; For this, a case report was made of two patients treated under the 4D photona protocol for facial rejuvenation, using two combined laser sessions for a period of 3 months, the sessions were carried out every 4 weeks, carrying out photographic and ultrasound recording before and after. post-treatment. There was clinical improvement of the periorbital and perioral wrinkles, one of the patients showed improvement of the nasolabial fold. There were no adverse effects. The combined protocol of these wavelengths proved to be safe and effective for periocular rejuvenation. The most relevant ultrasound findings after treatment were reported after 60 days after starting therapy and were a decrease in SLEB thickness and homogenization of dermal echogenicity. It is expected that the results obtained will be useful for future investigations of combined non-ablative laser in the population of our region.
