Abstract

As age increases, facial aging alters skin properties such as elasticity and tonicity, leading to skin laxity and the appearance of wrinkles. Many patients are concerned due to this situation, leading them to look for alternative minimally invasive methods that increasingly reduce the risks. Currently, several methods and techniques have been developed for treating facial rhytids, which allow patients to resume their daily activities more quickly and safely, including treatments with laser platforms, which have gained popularity thanks to the benefits above, making them an indispensable tool in aesthetic medicine. In this study, a 1470nm diode laser platform was used by endoscopic technique “endolifting” for the treatment of facial rhytids. Five patients with grade 1 to 2 rhytids were included. The results were evaluated by ultrasound recording, photographic evaluation, and patient satisfaction survey. According to the ultrasound images, a significant increase in density and thickness of the dermis and hypodermis was observed after the procedure, with the greatest difference in thickness increase being 3.6mm in the submental region. The photographic documents revealed a significant improvement in the malar and mandibular area. According to the patient’s evaluation, 100% were satisfied with the treatment. In conclusion, Laser facial endolifting is a minimally invasive procedure, with fast recovery, painless, without complications, effective and constitutes an alternative for the treatment of grade 1 to 2 facial rhytids.
